    The 4th oldest golf 18 hole golf course in the world! If it’s been hot and dry expect the ground to be hard and fast. Your iron play better be up to scratch because Old Tom Morris had his hand in the design of this golf course, back in 1871.

    Golf has been played for over 450 years; making it the 5th oldest in the world, listed 32nd in the top 100 golf courses. One of two courses at Montrose, play it before it goes, unfortunately, parts of it are being lost due to sea erosion.

    Founded in 1895, this beautiful inland golf course has fabulous turf that just asks you to hit a golf ball along fantastic views over the local hills this is definitely worth a visit. Listed 70th in the top 100 golf courses.
